INPUT [DUO] is a collective for he exploration of the new languages of music. Formed by Alberto Anhaus and Núria Carbó, and based in Bern, Switzerland, Input Duo aims to find new ways of music expression through the combination of electronic devices, mechanic objects and not conventional instruments. The collective propose a multimedia show, based on the interaction between video, light and electronics and wants to create versatile and easy-to-move projects, to fit into today's fast-paced, expansive world.

For more info about the project:

"This is not a percussion concert" is a show born out of the idea of breaking away from the normal canons of a percussion concert.

No classical percussion instruments are played during the show, only mechanical and electronic objects and tools.

The basic principle is to demonstrate that it is possible to be a percussionist without percussion instruments by acting as a performer.

The programme alternates between performed pieces and music-video installations.

This project has been played in different halls. in cities such as Barcelona and Bern.

“Paesaggi Sonor/1/“ is a composition for 3 performers created by INPUT/3/.

Having John Cage’s “Imaginary Landscape n. 1” as a starting point, we have developed a 40 minutes live set that involves the essence of what an imaginary and futuristic landscape is, turned into the nowadays concept of musical scene through a multimedia language.

Analog and electronic tools are used in the piece; the performers will play with live video, feedbacks and daily life used objects.

The performers will interact actively with sounds and videos, creating a virtual/futuristic world that blends with the perception of which things are real and which are not.

Through using feedbacks apparently uncontrolled, the idea is to create a parallelism about what the nature is and how we, as part of it, can describe its peculiarities.
