Núria Carbó is a percussionist and performer born in Castelló, Spain, and based in Bern, Switzerland. Specialized in contemporary music for soloist, chamber, ensemble music and sound arts, she has studied Master in Contemporary Percussion with Brian Archinal at the Hochschule der Künste Bern.

She has been finalist in numerous competitions, as the Juventudes Musicales de España (Madrid) and the Berlin Price for Young Artists, which has brought her the opportunity to record and play solo pieces in important venues around Europe, such as the Elbphilharmonie (Hamburg), KKL (Luzern) and Villa Elisabeth (Berlin).

​Her musical repertoire goes from classical-contemporary music to new-creation music, passing through new complexity and post-percussion pieces. Núria has premiered pieces from composers such as Enno Poppe, Elena Rykova, Manuel Rodriguez-Valenzuela, Helena Cánovas and Fabio Machiavelli, and has worked closely with Helmut Lachenmann, Simon Steen-Andersen and others.

​She has worked with ensembles and chamber groups such as the Arxis Ensemble, Percussion Orchestra Cologne, NEC and Inverspace, and is a fixed member of Frames Percussion, ICE3 Ensemble, Aléoç Duo and Input Duo. She has played in diverse new music festivals and venues such as Donaueschingen Musiktage (DE), NOW! Essen (DE), November Musik (NL), Huddersfield Contemporary Music Festival (UK), Wien Modern (AT), Biennale Venezia (IT), Beethovenfest Bohn (DE), Musikagileak (ES), Difraccions (ES), MaerzMusik Berlin (DE) and Resis (ES)
